August 13, 2013 10:25 am Like many of you I agree, I had reasonable hopes for this event but have lost interest really quickly, story is just okay, art too, For the price I'll wait for reviews then consider it in trades. It's sad, I remember when events started and books were still inexpensive enough that you could pick them up and toss them aside just as quickly. Now I really feel it if I but into a book that falls short of my hopes. What do you guys think?
June 24, 2013 7:14 pm The art is the draw. Jae Lee is a true artist.
March 18, 2013 7:46 pm Really? With all the great stuff coming out this week they are asking us to even care about a mediocre book for $5.00 bucks. Buck you DC!
March 4, 2013 1:47 pm Like just about everybody else I enjoy the art and am bored to death by the pace. I am done. From now on if the review is great I'll buy it discounted a month later. The story does not even interest or excite me. TIme to take a break (great at or not). I hope somebody that counts is reading these comments.
January 28, 2013 2:57 pm The ONLY cartoons with any 'Adult' sensibility and they have to go? Really? Kinda sucks but grateful for the morsels we have. FUCK YOU Cartoon Network.
January 28, 2013 1:27 pm As much as I enjoy the art by Manapul, I think it's time to drop this. The story is just d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g on and on and I am bored.
January 22, 2013 12:36 pm HELLO AND GOOD-BYE RON RICHARDS, This year I went to the NYC Comic Con. It was my very first even though I've been a comics guy since 1963. Yep... you read correct. I am 55 years old with a collection going back to childhood. My point is that I could not wait to meet the iFanBoy guys. I found the booth late in the afternoon and there they were. Ron, Josh and Connor. Well Ron was the most outgoing, engaging and plain old friendly of the gang and as we are chatting he asks iif I know who Jason Aaron is. Good gosh.. who doesn't, I even had a book I was hoping he would sign for me but I never found him. I tell this to Ron and he says... "well he's standing right behind me, would you like me to introduce him". Next thing I know we're all laughing and chatting, Jason introduces his lovely wife to me and as I noticed Jason has some tattoos, I remove my shirt to show him him my super-hero tattoo collage (a whole back piece). His wife jumps in and starts taking photos. All I'm saying is Ron is the most hospitable guy you'd ever meet (the heart of the iFanBoy bunch) and he will me missed VERY, VERY much. Wishing you so many good things in your career move, thank you for everything.
January 12, 2013 9:10 am Same here. I grant you Irving has a 'look', but I don't love it. What books cost these days, if I don't love it I don't but it.
January 8, 2013 8:02 am Hickman's F.F. was rated foe adult. Feels like this is for the Disney crowd. Just don't Ike it. Not the art and not thestry.
January 3, 2013 12:05 pm For the first time in years, if not decades, I am actually excited about The New X-Men, and Uncanny Avengers and that other Avengers book premiering this week. What an exciting time in comics. Thor is blowing the doors of the hinges too. While I sampled Hulk, and Captain America I will not continue with them. Cap... well I hate the boxy style of art, always have. Hulk, while interesting, I'm just not a fan. And sadly, nothing can come close to Hickman's 3 years on Fantastic Four so I've dropped it for now. Still skeptical (but open minded) about Spider-man. And Hawkeye rules.
