March 4, 2010 2:56 pm With all due respect Paul, it is absolutely criminal that the cover to girl comics did not make this list. By far and away the best of the week. Pure Amanda Connor genius!
January 11, 2010 3:10 pm Great review. Loving the series too, though not the McDaniel art as much. It's merely (if u'll excuse the pun) functional.

@Anson17 - I have to disagree that Johns hasn't done much to develop her. I feel in secret origin especially he fleshed out her character a lot and her relationship with Hal and her father.

Obviously people shouldn't be jumping to conclusions on very little knowlege but she doesn't seem especially appropriate and does seem like a bit of a studio pick to appeal to a wider audience. Hopefully she does end up being right for the part too.

January 10, 2010 8:33 am It's far more important that they do a faithful interpretation of Carol, otherwise why have her in the movie? The hair isn't important in and of itself but it is representative of whether they're going to intrpret the character faithfully. Like with keanu in Constantine.
September 30, 2009 5:12 pm There's another sketch on the DC blog and it's even better! Check it out, INCREDIBLE!
September 24, 2009 2:43 pm @conor yeah, I get that feeling too. The review also has that feeling of 'oh, i'm too good for this'. Having said that it concerns me that they're changing the premise of him impersonating other people.
September 23, 2009 3:14 pm So Smallville is one, what's the other? Also read a bad review of the pilot on Bleeding Cool. Here's the link if you're curious http://www.bleedingcool.com/2009/06/19/look-it-moves-3-by-adi-tantimedh-wait…-where’s-the-‘human’-in-human-shield’/ I think I'll still try it out though.
August 1, 2009 12:16 pm I was really disappointed by the ending of this issue. There have been about a million peter parker stories. The guy has his own weekly title for god's sake. I was really looking forward to a exciting new direction for the title. Why they felt the need to have a requiem for him and act like they'd killed him off when they never really would is beyond me.
March 29, 2009 5:52 pm The after watchmen booklet and ads are really good but its pathetic that we feel that alone is deserving of praise. You made something that should get some new people into comic shops, now put it somewhere thats not ALREADY INSIDE THE COMIC SHOP!
