April 23, 2009 7:29 pm @Guardenmarman - The tone of Deadpool is about the same in the main book, but he doesn't have to share panels with other characters so you may find it overwhelming.  Pick up the first trade and give it a try, it's easier to find than Cable/Deadpool.
