October 4, 2008 4:22 pm As a kid I always made my own costumes to some extent wether it was doing it all from scratch or just taking parts from other costumes and putting them together. One year when Mortal Kombat was big me and my friend made our own costumes and went as scoprion and subzero. In the last years i have not dressed up, but this year will be a return to form of sorts and im dressing up in the cheap funny way either going to get a name tag sticker and write God on it like Oz from Buffy or just go with a t-shirt ninja.

July 17, 2008 5:27 pm As a note the animation in the first segment isnt all that unusual it used in quite frequently. I agreed with the voice of batman I was happy with hearing Conroy but also really confused cause of the conflict between the voice and the image. I think this film is for anyone that likes batman or is into high quality japanese animation. I personally enjoyed both sides while a friend mine just watched it for the animation being anime fan and not a batman fan. Its like any comic book or animated feature it can be enjoyed on many levels.

May 28, 2008 9:07 pm Great article. I totally believe in needing to keep reviews equal for all types of publishing. The Moore article however possibly unfortunately  reminds me of an interview I saw with Uwe Boll, who talked about how people can not compare his films and more low budget films with high budget studio films. This idea i agree is untrue yes i think that there are things that you can not achieve with a lower budget but if something is truely good then it will be enjoyed regardless.
