September 14, 2011 1:56 pm Of all the the new DC titles I bought this week, this would be my pick, with GL a close second. But Ult Spider-Man made me literally say "Whoa!" at the very end. But yes, this is my new DC 52 pick of the week this week for sure. Lemire is showing some major versatility in story creation. Animal Man, like a lot of people said, was right up his alley due to the everyman/family angle of it. With Franky, he shows us how he can still maintain those horror roots while delivering a satisfying first entry into an action based story. He even manages to poke fun at how in team books, the team magically knows to work together and make jokes. Really excited to see where this book goes!

September 13, 2011 9:36 pm If you asked me a few weeks ago about this book, I would have scoffed and simply said no Then I read Animal Man Now it's my most anticipated book this week.

September 13, 2011 9:33 pm Cornell is hit and miss with me right now. I thought his arc in Batman and Robin was dumb, but Stormwatch surprised me. Here's to hoping I wont feel like I flushed 2.99 right down the drain!

September 13, 2011 9:19 pm I can't forgive Loeb for what he did to the Ultimate universe. Also, I'm really sick of Marvel just letting the cat out of the bag with their event announcements. What is the point of having a world changing event book when you pretty much tell us the outcome in future solicits?

September 12, 2011 9:57 pm While I'm sure this issue will be good, I'm more looking forward to where the series is going. After reading the solicits for the next few issues, it seems the guardians are really going to put Sinestro through his paces. Pumped!

August 12, 2011 11:13 am This issue was surprisingly great! I always thought C&D were kind of goofy, but Spencer and Rios did a great job. I agree, these two need their own series with Spencer and Rios doing it.
