October 19, 2009 1:02 pm I just read that they are making a comic adaptation for the video game Uncharted and I can think of several other games that have comics, Deadspace, Warcarft etc.. They must be doing pretty good if they keep making them.  I mean really more people walk into a gamestop then a comic book store.  To me it just shows the importance of selling comic books outside of the direct market.
October 14, 2009 2:53 pm I don't know what to think, on the one side I'd like my comic art to looks as realist as needed to tell the story but for me it normally always is.  Comic artist by their very nature have to drawn everything from the human form to city scape's, it's a big and expansive task.  I can't expect them to excel at everything and bring on another person to monitor the style chooses wouldn't help the price point.  For a single picture fine, get everything perfect but in sequential storytelling I don't see it as a priority.  Interesting though.
October 14, 2009 1:59 pm Work is a great time to read web comics and at $7.50 and hour I don't feel bad about it in the slightest.  Thanks for the heads up on these two!
August 17, 2009 2:25 pm Sounds fun but I'm not sure what seperates a mini comic from a regular comic.  Is it just the fact that I stapled them myself?
July 15, 2009 2:26 pm I'm acaully more worried about "breaking even" or slightly under then "breaking in".  I believe strongly in putting your money where your mouth is so I'm going to self publish my work and make damn sure everyone I talk to know where to get my work, whether it be for free or paided for.  Before I fell in love with comics I knew I wanted to be a story teller.
July 9, 2009 9:57 am I've been meaning to try Wolfman.  I think I'll pick up the first trade next time I'm ordering.
