Top 5: Best Comic Book Series… Right Now!
August 29, 2013 1:38 pm Batman
Thor: God of Thunder
Daredevil
Green Arrow (#17 onwards)
Hawkeye
I know I need a few more creative owned titles in there but this list is too good at the moment to be toppled.

New Comics for 08.28.2013 almost fell out of his chair when he was told one of his favorite TV show characters almost teamed up with one of his favorite movie characters last summer
August 27, 2013 4:38 am BQ: Supernatural and Buffy, or Firefly & Doctor Who. Either 9, 10 or 11 (or one of the classic Doctors) would be great fun to see interacting with the Firefly crew. And let us not forget the differences between the meaning of the word 'companion' in these two universes.
Massive week this week for me, getting a load of comics as well as stuff from the past two weeks as I've been abroad. So about 26 (plus maybe a few back issues such as The Movement #4 if they're in stock).
AQUAMAN #23
CAPTAIN AMERICA #10
FF #11 (trying out both Fantastic Four related titles. Reserved them before I found out that Fraction was leaving).
JUSTICE LEAGUE #23
LAZARUS #3
TALON #11
THOR: GOD OF THUNDER #12
UNCANNY AVENGERS #11
UNCANNY X-MEN #11
YOUNG AVENGERS #9

SIDEKICK #1
August 8, 2013 8:10 am I liked it, but it didn't blow me away - I'll check out at least the next two issues, though.

GREEN ARROW #23
August 7, 2013 3:45 am Okay, maybe not SUPERMAN UNCHAINED then , on second thoughts. That's in the Top 10, but probably not a Top 5 title. Probably either EARTH 2 (Really annoyed that Robinson is leaving), TALON or JUSTICE LEAGUE, which has really improved following its weak second arc, with a very strong Throne of Atlantis Crossover with AQUAMAN, and Trinity War is shaping up to be really strong as well.

Light Week? Try BURN THE ORPHANAGE: BORN TO LOSE #1, PRINCELESS: TALES OF GIRLS WHO ROCK!, or TRILLIUM #1
August 6, 2013 1:49 pm Excellent list. Make sure you check out GREEN ARROW #23 as well, after you've read #17 onwards to catch up. Lemire kills it on this series - one of DC's best at the moment. Easily my most anticipated issue of the week.

TRILLIUM #1
August 6, 2013 2:32 am I've loved Lemire's Green Arrow run, so this should be pretty epic as well, hopefully.
