Those 25 cents bins are the best. I love Batman and I love Brian Michael Bendis. Citizen Kane is on my top 15 films of all time. I had to study that film a lot when I was in film school. I am mad at my self that I never know about this book. I never pick this Batman line up. Now it is my gold this week to find this issue of Batman Chronicles. That story sound like it can be fun. I am waiting a bit to call a few comic book stores by my house and I hope they have it. Because I am going to be very mad at my self .If I have to wait for the next Con to look for it.
I have the first TBP hardcover. I know I have number two on my wish list. I can't wait to read it. But I know some people are not happy where the book is going right now. I guess I just have to wait tell I am done reading number two. I am sure number three will be the last one with Ed Brubaker on this book.

This is why I love NYC. I just wish we would have this in Los Angeles. I know I saw some old kirby pages sometime back and all I can say is WOW there are so beautiful.

My self I know I don't care what people think of me. If I am reading a comic book and so what if Superman saves the day one more time. If it makes me happy I don't care you have to ask your self are you reading for you self or someone.
Let me take you back to a few years a go. When I went back to France to see my family. I had over 20 TPB in one bag. When I was on the plane I was reading The Surrogates, Battle Hymn Farewell to the first golden age and Gen 13. I was rocking out my ipod. And I am sure there was a few episode of ifanboy on my ipod.
Also I am not one to buy into oh WOW I have to read my books only at the coffee shop. I read anywhere I can. I know every night since I was a kid around six when first got into comics and I have been reading every night. Even when I was in the hospital when I had my chemotherapy when I was sick with Cancer.
I would be reading. Some people like my girl friend loves watching TV for me. I am more in to reading a book it can be anything from the new Batman to a book by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Since my two favorites books of all time are Crime and Punishment by Dostoyevsky and 1984 George Orwell.
I love the Spirit Eisner's and Cooke's but I just think Frank Miller thinks he is hot sh$t now. Since Sin City and 300 where big hits. I don't think Frank has what it takes to be a director. I think fame has got to his head.
I don't think we ever see Sin City 2 and 3 anytime soon if he is going to make it by him self.
