June 16, 2011 12:44 pm @LukeB: Talking with gods was really good. Very insightful and well made. Any big Morrison fan should watch. Still waiting to read Supergods though.
June 16, 2011 2:58 am Listening to Morrison talk about comics always reinstills hope and excitement in me for comics as a medium. I still have some cynicism over this reboot, but I honestly don't know if I've ever been more excited for a creator's reinvisioning of a character since....ever. Call me a sucker, but given this man's track record with Superman, I honestly believe this could be the biggest thing for the character since his death.
June 16, 2011 2:28 am Perhaps an oddly specific request, but does anybody know who drew that panel of Jor-El and/or what series it came from? It feels a little like Byrne, but I'm not sure.
June 14, 2011 3:33 pm @Cooper: Wow. Is Sesame Street even for small kids anymore? Between this and the madmen sketch, really makes me wonder.
June 14, 2011 1:37 pm @misterckent: I guess we can mourn these books together. Seriously, I don't know what it is about them, but I really feel like Batgirl and Supergirl as we know them are going to be gone. For good. I just hope they can keep the fun atmosphere these books have moving forward.
June 14, 2011 12:14 am @josh: What was "wrong" is what John pointed out, he was conceptually one big retcon of a story, and that's what divided many fans opinions and turned it into a debate. Most people hated the very idea of the Sentry, and thus found Fallen Sun to be the ultimate final offense. But I think John's point is if you liked the idea of the Sentry through out most of his story arc, then Fallen Sun seems less of an offense than it does a missed opportunity.
June 13, 2011 10:55 pm @wordballoon: couldn't agree with you more Mr. Siuntres.
June 13, 2011 8:55 pm Alex Ross channeling Kirby's cosmic style from the 70's might be the coolest thing ever. I'll probably buy this just to display it, regardless of story. Of which, I hope is good.
June 13, 2011 8:45 pm Even though the only great run out of these 65 issues was Sterling Gates', I've become very attached to this book and to this version of Kara. As exciting as the reboot supergirl looks, I can't help but feel very sad about losing this. This, along with Linda Danvers, will always be my supergirl.
June 13, 2011 8:41 pm As much as I love Barbara Gordon as Batgirl...I'm going to miss this book.
