Name: Tu-Kwon Thomas

Bio: My name is Tu-Kwon Thomas and I'm a Brooklyn native. I'm currently living in Norfolk, Virginia while attending Old Dominion University. Where should I begin, I would have to say my first exposure to comics was an old Amazing Spider-Man comic given to me by a teacher when I was in the fourth grade. I would have to say that day change me forever because not only did that moment spawned my interest for comics but it woke the talent for drawing as well. So you can pretty much say that comic books and I have known one another other for twenty one years (man it felt like it was yesterday). I remember running home from school and telling my mom about pursuing an occupation in penciling but of course we all know how it is when one expresses an interest towards those who can't relate. I think when I turned eighteen I'd almost considered giving up on my dream of becoming a comic book artist. That same year I met one of my best friends named Carlos who in short terms reacquainted my passion for the medium and I haven't dropped my pencil since. These are the titles I'm reading right now: Invincible: This is a great refresher form the superhero genre!!! Loving the gorgeous art by Mr. Ottley and the simplicity of Kirkman's writing chores! The Walking Dead: What can I say about this title. This is a great character driven book with cliffhangers that always leave me in awe. War Heroes: It's taking forever for the book to come out on time but Millar and Harris seems to always deliver!

November 17, 2010 10:34 am @Ifanboy---thank you guys once again for a great interview with another legend. I've been reading comics for over twenty years and sometimes I forget the rich history along with the personal stories these creators have experienced. With that being said, I didn't know that Jerry Robinson created the Joker. Thanks for the history lesson fellas! Once again, great interview!

I loved this book too! The hidden subtleties were at times obvious but to its credit still left me wanting to know more about this tale. This is my first time reading material by Jim McCann, so this was definitely a treat and a refresher to the fairy tales I've bee exposed to during my childhood. I love Janet's artwork too (definitely one of a kind) because there are some stories that are tailor made for particular talent. With that being said, McCann and Lee's efforts in this work embodies one word.....masterpiece.

 Looking forward for Volume 2!!!!
