If you’ve read my reviews of Welcome to Hoxford you’ve heard me protest that I’m not a horror fan. Well, I guess maybe, deep down I am a horror fan. And its taken a twisted soul like Ben Templesmith to bring my warped nature to light.

In Wormwood, Gentleman Corpse, Ben does it again. His art is truly one-of-a-kind, and while the stories are quick little bites out of the Wormwood apple, they do engage.

If you are a fan of the Ash character from Evil Dead and Army of Darkness I think you’ll like Wormwood.

Worm is a great character, and I hope we get more from Ben.

As I promised Mr. Templesmith, he keeps writing and I’ll keep buying.
