Had a long week of working your double shifts, passing out candy to kids, cleaning up after the fallout of a hurricane or dealing with crazy people who destroy their own city when their team whens the World Series? Then pick Wolverine and the X-Men #19. If you’ve been following the series, then things get kicked in to high gear. If you’ve never read it before, then this issue is the perfect jumping on point. Jason Aaron goes full out comedy in this issue, with Kitty Pryde’s interviews (watch Doop) to Beast’s inteactions with Marvel’s geniuses to Angel’s board room sequence [Let’s buy Disney! – (perfect timing, btw)] as well as more serious moment with Wolverine and Rachel. It’s always great to see Bradshaw on art, this time he’s packed so much detail into every panel, but it never become overwelming. This issue is packed with so much goodness and it’s definately worth the 3.99 price tag, so give it a shot!
