Call me crazy, but I thought this was cool.  I'm definitely not always a fan of this book, but I think I'm enjoying this series more than the 1st one.  It is hit and miss, but I found this one to be very surprising as I'll explain.  The surprise was not only unexpected, but my reaction was as well.

I laughed out loud in horror when the group of shrunken soldiers got zapped.  I thought for sure it would work and everything would be fine and they'd be back to normal.  No problem right?  Not so much.  The whole thing went kaboom and they turned into a giant pile of flesh and crap.  I'm not kidding.  They show this giant mound of flesh and heads all melted together.  It was utterly disgusting and COMPLETELY unexpected. 

But THEN it got really weird!  I know, right?  How do you get weirder than melting about 25 miniaturized people while trying to bring them back to regular size?  Pages later you show the giant mount of flesh has grown to hulk size and is screaming at Emma with all of the heads popping out all over its body!  I think I've seen this before in a Nightmare on Elm Street movie or something.  Regardless, it was freaking crazy and sometimes I like that!

Will the last 2 issues give me this much enjoyment?  Unlikely, as I said, this book has been hit or miss and I'm NOT a fan of Renato Arlem's art at all, but it works on this series for some reason.  Anyways, this was an unpleasantly pleasant surprise... if that makes sense.
