Someone needs to explain to me how Bendis fits so much story in every isssue. After the high action and drama of the last issue we get a quiet re-introduction to the world of Miles Morales in this issue. Without any action sequences you might ask how thrilling this book could be. Yet, there is suspense, mystery, and all kinds of new and exciting developments going on. Miles is dating Kate Bishop! And Bendis doesn't tell us who Kate Bishop is nor does he force us to pay attention to her. But I was excited. Miles looks about a year older and the art is top notch at usual. Marquez has an amazing ability to draw emotion. You see everything on Miles' face. I love the two page paneling he does. One two page spead is imediately followed by another. It flows great and allows for bigger panels. This is an excellent jumping on issue. So jump on already!
