Dam I love this book. This is exactly the type of book that the Ultimate Universe is made for. I love Marvel's 616 universe but the pressure to avoid delays and stick closely to establish continuity handcuffs creators. In the Ultimate Universe, creators are free to tell their story, without worrying about delays messing up other books or intricate continuity. Specifically, in Ultimate Comics Avengers Millar and Pacheco are telling a kick-ass, action blockbuster that is pure joy. Every time this book comes out, I have a blast reading it and this issue is no different. The Red Skull here is as evil as it gets and Steve Rogers is a bad ass, plain and simple. I can't wait to see these two square off and see how Cap takes down his son. Yes, thats right the Red Skull is Cap's son. If that doesn't get you excited, I don't know what will. On the art side Pacheco really draws the hell out of the action scenes and on this book that is essential. Anyone out there that wants a fun, self contained, superhero read pick up this book. You won't be disappointed.
