This may be nostalgia talking, but this is my favorite issue of TMNT so far. The turtles get their shells handed to them by a masked mutant, I’m sure you’ll figure it out before the reveal like I did. There’s not much story as it does say in the recap that this is the calm before the storm. I finally get to see Kevin Eastman draw an issue of TMNT that’s not a reprint. I loved it. As much as I’ve been clamoring for Dan Duncan to return, this was a really good on ye ole peepers. This is a one and done story, but I’m excited for what comes next and I’m glad I haven’t lost any interest thus far.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
