Jesus, everything that is wrong with DC Comics can be encapsulated in
this crossover. You have incredibly talented writers like McKeever
writing some of the skeeviest takes on what were fun or at least
relatable characters, which would be bad enough if not for the fact
that everyone is reacting to each other like early 90’s X-Men, with a
lot of yelling and mistrust. You have a wannabe punisher character that
has about as much to do with the Titans populating the background in
hopes his horrid book gets a boost in sales from this. The art was
pretty good, which is even more of a pity considering how unreadable
this story was. Jericho torturing people at the beginning doesn’t make
for an interesting read, nor does all the macho posturing that is
taking place in this book instead of characterization. 3/10

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 1 - Poor

  1. Yup, you got it. And if Dan Didio thinks good stories make Marvel-style recaps unnecessary he should make sure all his books contain good stories.
