A decent enough story. It felt a lot like a Silver Age story at the end
when it showed what role Kara was playing, but it was okay. It’s nice
to see Allura not being arbitrary in her dealings with Kal. I liked the
art okay, but it didn’t wow me. I wish it wasn’t painfully obvious that
Zod is being written to stay in the villain mold. It would be much more
interesting to see him as a protector of New Krypton than just the evil
millitary Superman. I liked the fight scene, but didn’t care for the
cliche Johns big reveal on the last page Robinson tried to pull.
