I think Adam Felberg bit off more than he could chew with this issue.  He threw five balls in the air, and two seems to be his limit.

Plot-line 1: The HAMMER Connection, in which the Krew gains some support in the form of research and deliverer of the end of issue reveal.

Plot 2: Moonstomp's Monologue, perhaps the best part of the book.  Moonstomp must deal with the world in which he's now black with a black president.  Some pages of another plot should have been dropped to give this some more development.

Plot 3: Riot's New Girlfriend, in which Riot picks up where Batwoman didn't; one note lesbianism.  And shock of shock...she's a skrull.  (Total lack of exclamation point for emphasis.)

Plot 4: The Krew Explores Their Feelings, the rage that came through that skrull tainted beef seems to be wearing off.  Get some Garth Ennis "Just eff 'em" attitude in this comic quick.

Plot 5: They Kill Skrulls, surprising but true.  A whole Hollywood mansion full of them, including a skrull wolverine. 

Some of the one-liners are a bit weightier than the story or art seems to merit.  Wolverine is just a bit blase in this book.  There are too many characters...they should have just kept it Ryder and Riot.  And the reveal is really weak.  Really, really weak.

T urns out that Skrull DNA is vicious, and the Krew are now skrulls. 

I'm still holding hope that this will live up to the preview back in the Dark Reign one-shot.
