This was an easy pick. Come on, Darwyn Cooke’s art in an oversize edition, printed on quality paper for only $2. The perfect thing to tide me over until October’s release of The Outfit.

The art doesn’t miss a beat from the hunter, yes its Parker with a new face, but its still that nasty guy underneath it all. And if you look close, he still has his old, cold eyes. Those didn’t change.

The story is one I’m not familiar with. I knew The Hunter, I’ve read it, saw the films based on it, but I’m not sure if this is the whole novel that Cooke is adapting or just portions of it. Whatever it is it feels complete. He did an amazing job condensing it all in to 24 pages.

Story: 5 - Excellent
