I'll admit, after reading the first issue of Red-Hood, I wasn't sure if i was ready to commit to this book. Along came the second issue, it made me even more curious-er. After reading the 3rd issue Red-Hood, I'm sold. This book is nothing but good action and a lot of fun. Though we still know very little as to why these three in particular are put together, the back stories provided in this issue was spot on. And the irony at the very end of this book about Jason not wanting his most cherished memory back, Lobdell knocked it out of the park with the reveal. Honestly, my interest in comics is mostly for the story. But I'm slowly starting to pick up as to why the art is very important too. I'm no artist or critic, but the colors and the lines provide a nice bright touch without losing its edge. Rocafort and Blond are doing a great job on this series. All I can say is that I'm very excited for what Lobdell has in store for these Outlaws and I can't wait. I wish his stories for Superboy so far would be just as captivating or at least half the entertainment of what Red-Hood and The Outlaws provide.
