I’ve been following Zeb Wells New Mutants since the beginning, it was one of the first books I picked up n I started reading comics in issues so I think I’ll always have a soft spot for this book. I’ve been loving Wells run on New Mutants but I have to say, after Second Coming I felt the book wasn’t on par of what Wells wrote before. While I think this arc wasn’t all too great I feel this last issue really set up for the last two issues of Wells run to be fantastic. We get some nice character development for most of the team here and can see the strong bond these mutants have for one another, I feel that the team is stronger than ever despite the obvious struggle they’re going through right now and with the bit at the end I feel what’s to come will be phenomenal. Now I do enjoy Leonard Kirks art on or books but I feel that his artwork just isn’t fitting for the New Mutants, he tends to draw them alot older than it’s being portrayed in the story. With that aside this is a fantastic book and any fans of either New Mutants or the X-verse should be having alot of fun with this book.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 3 - Good
