I thought with Mann and Young on board this would be something worth checking out and I enjoyed it. This is the first thing I've read with Skottie Young on writing duties and I was impressed, the characterizations and dialogue were both good and it was an enjoyable read. I'll be interested to see where it goes and I'll definitely pick up the second issue. They're in dangerous territory for me (I wasn't exactly clamoring to see Joseph brought back), but so far this is looking pretty good. Clay Mann's art is very good. I don't know what else to say since I'm not a great art critic. When I see the stuff he draws I like it. It reminds me a bit of Olivier Coipel, which isn't a bad thing at all.
