I love Mike Allred. Alot. I could spend hours looking at his artwork. Anytime he draws something outside of of Madman, its guaranteed that I”ll pick it up. I can’t explain why I love his art so much, but I do. Its a guaranteed 5 out of 5.

As for the story itself, I loved it. This time Allred doesn’t try a new structure, he just tells a straight forward story. The way he goes about re-setting the status quo is so much fun. The story is fun (though Gum annoyed me), and was chock full of neat ideas. An Osmosis machine, cloning madness. And I love how Allred has a story thats fun & beautiful, while using text boxes to explore the nature of things. This issue is partly about the nature of being, if who we are is part of our body or part of our experiences. He raises questions, but doesn’t really answer them. We’re left to think about it. I love this series. Its always weird, beautiful, and fun.
