This weeks book for JSA I feel that the fuse has been lit. We finally started to get more info on what was happening with the Heartbreak Slayer. We finally know who Gog is and they have started to connect him to Kingdom Come Superman in a couple ways.

Even though some people haven't liked the art in this book recently there appears to be a different artist in this issue. Some people aren't fans of Eaglesham, but I enjoy his art and have so since Villains United. This issue was done by Fernando Pasarin and was good. There weren't too many panels that I thought disappointed me in quality and I didn't really feel like it was a drastic change from what we've seen in this book.

The best part of this book was the interaction and comparison of the Supermen. We also see in this issue how heartbreaking the Kingdom Come Superman can be when he hears Lois's voice again. He is frozen in his place and realizes that he wasn't ready yet to hear or see her again. I'm interested to actually see character interaction between the two.

I did really enjoy the comparison of the two Supermen. We see how much more powerful the Kingdom Come Superman is then our regular Earth-1 Superman. He can hear things happening in Gotham from Metropolis and when Hercules hits Earth-1 Superman he goes flying through a wall. Not so with Kingdom Come Superman, Hercules hand breaks and he is easily subdued.

As I have said before I can't wait for this book to explode and it does really need to do so soon. If you are not reading this book you should be it's written by DC's bet writer and he delivers with almost every issue.

Lastly for anyone who reads this, who the hell is the purple guy because that really confused me.
