Really liked it — the story. Art was pretty good.

Funny, Finch’s art’s lost its spark over the years… Is it just me and my big, fat Marvel bias (as I have so been accused)? He blew the lid off back during his run on New Avengers (Vol. 1), and it’s kind of been a grim and gritty “meh” ever since.

I remember Miki was doing the coloring/inking on his work back then. Wonder if that was the difference maker.

I’m opening issue two as i write this, and I’m trying to take the Marvel lenses off. Really like where things are going with Green Arrow in this book and in his own book. I also really hope the Hawkman gets another venue to cleanse the bad taste his stand-alone series left behind. Had such high hopes for this character and was profoundly disappointed.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 3 - Good
