Unfortunately, issue #1 of this book is on backorder at my LCS. However, I decided not to wait for it to read this issue and boy am I glad. This was a great comic for those who like professional wrestling or the underdog type story (i.e. Rocky, Vision Quest, Rudy, etc). The story follows Hartmann, a young man trying to break into professional wrestling. The story is very well written and focuses not only on the events surrounding Harmann’s tryout but his internal dialogue as well. In addition the production quality of the book is very good. My only complaint is the art. While it isn’t horrible and it gets the job done it is nothing special. It is somewhat realistic but lacks much detail. Overall, this was a great read and I can’t wait until #1 comes in and #3 ships in the next month or so.
