This comic continues to be one of the most fun comics on the rack. Abnett and Lanning craft a tale full of adventure and humor and at the same time giving you plenty of story while advancing the overall plot.

I love the idea of framing the action with debriefing of the members of the team. It reminds me of the Office, one of my favorite shows on TV.

The cast is diverse in personality and plays off each other very well. There’s the great combination of witty and funny characters with straight characters that are still interesting. Plus, the suprise guest-star was great and offers plenty of potential.

The art by Paul Pelletier keeps with the tone of the comic, conveying the comedy and adventure equally and complements the script perfectly.

Fans of Dan Slott’s Avengers: Initiative and superhero team comics in general should love this!
