I’ve been excited to read this book since I heard about it, and it didn’t let down. This miniseries appears to be acting as a sequel, and it feels very official. The tone and humor match the film, and the characterizations just about convinced me this was written by the actual screenwriter (it wasn’t).

If I had to gripe about something, it would be the art. The book is competently drawn, but a little too cartoony for my tastes. I would’ve liked to see this look a bit more real. As it is now, the characters don’t seem to resemble their actor-counterparts whatsoever.

I’m definitely keeping with this series, and I hope this leads to a healthy life for “Galaxy Quest” in this medium.
