The only Aftermath book I read and enjoyed, this book keeps getting
better.

Maybe it’s because I can’t help seeing the main character as
Carl from Aqua Teen Hung Force, but I just love seeing horrible things
happen to him. I love the reveal about the team of Morts and how they
feel about the guy that made them less of jokes.

 I really enjoyed
seeing Clayface in this book for some reason. I’d like to see Sturges
have him fight the JSA when he takes over.

The female in this book is
stereotypical, but still really hilarious to me for some reason. I like
the art. It works very well here and does a good job of keeping this
book from becoming too sleazy.

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 3 - Good

  1. Yeah, this book is a totally different kind of experience for me.  It’s like this guy is supposed to be a bad guy, but he hasn’t got anything out of it but a whole bunch of grief.  I don’t understand why he doesn’t give up on his crime career and try to make up for the shit he has already done.  He definitely isn’t cut out for crime, but he is all half cyborg superpowered now so he’s gonna have to do something whenever he breaks free from this crazy guy who has him enslaved now.  He definitely isn’t going back to being a regular human from that!

You know, know that I think about it, I’m about to go and read this one again.  It was actually my Pick Of The Week even though I read Batman & Robin one more time.  This series definitely needs to be getting the attention it really deserves.
