I’m still annoyed by the number of Eternal Champions in this series. It is called ELRIC: The Balance Lost. Shouldn’t this story focus on Elric? The A cover by Francesco Mattina is excellent and there are a few good panels such as the one of Beelzebub but the switching of locales every two pages is jarring. In the fourth issue you’re just getting the suggestion of who might be behind the loss of balance in the multiverse but I can’t see who in this mythology could be more powerful than the Chaos Lords, the Lords of Law, and the Grey Lords of Balance. This seems to break the rules of Moorcock’s multiverse. I’m sticking with it because I’m an Elric fan but anyone else would be really lost.
