I am both a huge zombie fan and an Ennis fan and way back when i saw the zero issue on the stand at my LCS i thought comics couldn’t get any better. This book kicks ass. And also rapes ass. It has been nothing but a fun horrific ride, following a small group of survivors in the most bizzare “zombie” outbreak you’ve ever read. The crossed aren’t braineaters, but ruthless rapists. They will kill you, each other, group up and as of this issue they will track their prey.

Ennis always does a great job with groups of people and this title is no different. Each character is different enough to be interesting each in their own, yet believeble. Barrows joins up with Ennis again and nails it each issue. The gore is beautifully drawn and pulls you into this horrific setting that forces the reader to think about themselves in the same situation.

Every issue will leave you with at least one scene to ponder for the next week or so and Crossed has yet to make me question the $3.99 price tag.
