COUNTDOWN TO ADVENTURE #8 (OF 8)

Review by: Mooseman

Size: pages
Price: 3.99

I really can’t review this book because its half a book. I like the 1st half, its charaters its story the interplay everthing, but that Forerunner crap… I mean really. What was the point. I want to know, WHAT WAS THE POINT? All that to raise a test tube planet of equally pointless people. I refuse to jump on writers and artists for there work I don’t like because I know they gave there best and there are a hundred different thing I don’t know about creating comics because I’m not creating comics, but… that was crap. I want half my money back $2.00 per issue, $16 altogether because I feel if you don’t like a book you just don’t buy it, no jumping on the internet and whinning no stupid protest, just don’t buy it. And if you ever get the chance to meet the creative team, ask some construtive questions and you might get a great story about how they had a great idea but the Man ( or another evil force ) made them change it. But I can’t even do that because I just don’t understand what the point of the Forerunner is to formulate a good question or comment. All I can say is Starfire, Strange and Animal Man good, Forerunner bad.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 3 - Good

Comments

  1. I would say that Forerunner got better…

But yeah, given the choice, I’d have skipped this, and done it Fell style – 16 pages:  2 bucks!

  2. I enjoyed the Forerunner story, but agree the 3.99 seemed like they were suckering you for the Space team from 52.
