Where was this story a year ago. For a while now Buffy has been a sicking ship, a limping horse, or whatever other methaphor you want to use, but now I am actually hopefully this serise might all be worth it.
If Brad Metzler can keep going with this enthusism and excitment, then maybe season 8 won’t have been for nothing.
I loved how Buffy and Xander’s amusement at experimenting with her new powers was so easily turned to dispair when they found the source of said new powers.
All of Buffy and Xander’s interaction in this issue were great, hard to believe that someone who didn’t work on the show can capture the voice’s so perfectly.
I still have trouble believing who Twlight is (thank you Dark Horse for running that one), but at least the writer is on his way to making the reveal entertaining.
The art was as strong as always, making these characters look like the actors without them being stills from the show.
Sorry Sweet Tooth, but this is my POTW, you were pick the last five weeks, it’s time to give someone else a go – and Buffy is finally back on track!
Art: 4 - Very Good
