Ah
post apocalyptic futures/alternate realities. I never really get tired
of them. On of my first and favorite comics was the second volume of
What If, and I'm still pissed that Exiles is being canceled again. It's
been a little too long since we've seen an Elseworlds out of DC, so
seeing stuff like this in Booster makes me one happy nerd boy. I do
have to question how comfortable sitting on skulls really is. It seems
like any villain that causes the death of humanity makes a lay z boy
out of craniums. I love seeing Kyle show up in settings like this. It
shows how he really is heroic, regardless of the situation. The art is
very solid, but Jurgens loves Michael almost as much as I do. The first
back up story arc ended with a whimper but it did set up Jaime jumping
into the main feature, which should be fun.
