I don’t really know what happened, I was not that hot on this series when I heard about it, then picked it up, liked it a lot, was excited for issue 5, but something just didn’t work for me. The end seemed like a cop out for some reason. The resolution was typical Bendis event anti-climax and featured a deus ex machina that was needless and odd considering the deus in question got the ball rolling on the problem.

The art was very good but not as impressive as the middle stretch of the series where the panel layouts really broke the mold and accentuated the storytelling.

Disappointing last issue to an entertaining diversion of a series.
