This issue showed everything that works and doesn’t work with anthology
series. The Wolverine Punisher story was very pretty, but it felt like
it was just set up set up set up and then when it was finally set up,
the story was to be continued. The IM2020 just seemed like the slow
part every issue would have, but since it wasn’t told in one issue, it
was just a slow story, and I’m not at all a fan of the art. The
Daredevil story was fine, but could have used more dialog to explain
what the hell happened. It felt like someone that wanted to do
something special and unique for their try out so worked on a silent
issue, but just couldn’t follow it through. I am unclear on if the
demons were possessing the people that were arrested or just holograms
for them or what? I did like the Sam and Bobby stuff though. That was
just a lot of fun.
