I was excited for the start of this storyline.  I liked the buildup with the beginning and the foreshadowing of what’s to come, but one thing totally yanked me out of this.

The scene where Michelle and Peter are talking in the apartment and they GO BACK on the whole thing where the slept together in Issue 600/601.  Peter was drunk at the time and there they say he was just “acting drunk” and the Michelle had replaced his drink with Ginger Ale.  Seriously?  Did someone complain that Spider-Man couldn’t get drunk and they had to “take back” that minor plot point?  And then he mentions something about “how come I was hungover the next day” and she chalks it up to his nerves being on end from seeing Mary Jane.  Seriously?  That’s a little too ONE MORE DAYish for my taste.  Ridiculous.

Not sure how I feel about Electro the Economy Avenger either.  This better GET better.
