Yes, it’s a little decompressed-feeling, but we get to see Moon Knight (man, does Bendis LIKE that character or what?) and Natasha in the west coast wasteland.

Clearly, we’re still introducing characters and that’s okay…but I hope the next issue gets things rolling quickly. I don’t want another issue without something moving the plot FORWARD. And the last panel seems to promise we’ll get some action.

The art is unbelievably good. Hitch is doing masterful work with facial expressions and with general physiques. The bodies of our heroes look, shall I say, real? I get a Neal Adams Batman with his shirt off after getting beat down by R’As Agul kind of vibe. It’s gritty. Works.

Story 4, Art 5

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
