  1. That looks retarded.

  2. Well the cover is nice. But the preview I saw looked pretty dire.

  3. The interiors look dire compared to the cover?  Oh crap…

Have these always been 48 pages?

  4. Well the art itself is fine, but the giant 80s hair and snowflake shuriken earrings just aren’t working for me. Frost is her name, not her gimmick. You don’t see Frank Castle wearing a hat that looks like a castle, do you?

But you can judge for yourself.

Although I was more referring to the writing. It just strikes me as not very Emma at all.

  5. Wow, those faces are kind of ridiculous…

I have no real interest in Emma Frost, but I’m getting this since I have all the others.  That logic is going to suck since the next one is Deadpool…

I understand wanting to spread out the big characters, but can we please get an Angel, Magneto, or Xavier issue soon? After Deadpool, I’d even settle for Cannonball.

  6. There was a Emma Frost series a while back that dealt with her origin. I thought it was really good…..so I don’t think I will pick this up

  7. The previous origin series stopped (cancellation) before they got around to her joining the Hellfire Club. This one is meant to follow up on that I believe.

At least it will show events as far as her first encounter with the X-Men.

  8. I wish they had just continued these in order — Polaris, Havok, Sunfire, Bashee, Colossus, etc.

Even if they didn’t want to do the second tier X-Men, did they have to jump to bimbo Emma so soon?

  9. Either my shop didn’t get this, or I missed it.  I was in a pretty big rush, so who knows.

Hopefully this didn’t end up sucking.

  10. I don’t think there is a character I hate more than Emma Frost, I really want her to die 🙂

  11. I love the Emma Hate because she’s my very favorite character in comics, however often mishandled. That being said, I skipped this. It looked horrible and the Emma solo series that tried the same story was just, just awful.
