I’m really excited for this, but a bit nervous that Pak is the writer. His stuff just doesn’t gel with me.
Greg Pak is actually the reason I am getting this. Planet Hulk was fantastic. And I think if he had control of World War Hulk it wouldn’t have been poop.
This will probably suck but the cover is sweet.
See I only got through half of Planet Hulk and it just didn’t do it for me. I’ve been meaning to give it another shot but have yet to get around to it.
I’ve never read or seen anything X-Men in my life. I’ve never even heard of this Magneto dude before. So why am I interested in this comic? I wonder if I could just pick it up and read it without knowing anything…

yea this was really impressive. I did not expect something like this when I opened it.
So I ended up getting it. Really enjoyed it! It’ll be good to see how this develops.
Late picking this up. Excellent book.
Color me surprise. I’m a huge fan of Magneto but not a particular fan of Greg Pak. He’s very hit-or-miss for me (usually leaning more towards the miss end of the spectrum) but I had to pick this up because the cover is so freaking gorgeous. And the story…well, it made me cry. Or at least get a little sniffly. Greg Pak told a good story and the art was excellent. It makes me more kindly disposed towards Mr. Pak when reading future comics.
