  1. God i miss the Joe Casey stuff. him, ellis, millar, and brubaker made the wildstorm u important and now its just blah

  2. I would LOVE to see Casey get a chance to continue his 3.0 run…. so much better than this (which had potential, but is falling WAY short. Only THE AUTHORITY is anywhere near as good as I expect).

  3. I’ve been really enjoying Gage run on the ‘Cats so far. I’m excited to see him bring in Lord Defile over from his Stormwatch: PHD run.

  4. Authority and Stormwatch have been the true wins on the WORLDS END but Wildcats has been pretty decent and worth everyone checking out.

  5. Yeah, STORMWATCH has been pretty good too, but WILDCATS has always been my favorite Wildstorm team, so I was really excited about this run, but so far, it has just been… sorta… blah… Nothing really seems to be going anywhere. Defile showing up definitley has some promise though.

  6. Agreed this was solid, solid issue, very tight and fast paced and darker then the previous issue There are some good character moments, especially with Jeremy….Gage does an amazing job with Lord Defile and continues to write a Ladytron I actually like.

  7. (SPOILERS)

I think Christos Gage has finally hit his stride with Wildcats.  Although I wish it hadn’t taken until issue six to do it mainly because I know a lot of people have already given up on this book and it’s really starting to get good.  I love how Gage has taken Lord Defile and really made him a threat to the Wildcats.  I’d love to see old Helspont show up in the Wildcats books but for now, Lord Defile is proving to be a worthy foe for the team.  And it was only a matter of time before some of the Wildcats started considering Majestic’s offer to join him in Hawaii.  Looks like Warblade is the first to start leaning towards Majestic.  Having Nemesis get possessed by Lady Decadence was also a cool twist.  And I can’t wait to see the beat down between Maul and Lord Defile next issue!

The Christie Blaze back-up story had a cool start to it.  I love the James Bond-style mission her and John Lynch were just completing.  And looky looky who showed up again.  Miles Craven sure is popping up a lot in these back stories lately.  And we’ve already been told he’s still alive in World’s End (supposedly).  I love how all this seems to be coming together and I look forward to where all this leads.
