Gary Frank & Geoff Johns = Perfect Superman
This wasn’t as good as people made it out to be.
Perfect Superman? Hell no! It’s completely inaccessible to a new reader.

I know alot of what’s going on now links to this. I’m picking this up just to catch up. It’ll feel more like a prequel.
Everyone always ask me:
"TNC, if you want this New Krypton stuff to end, then you want the boring Superman to return?"
I say, no….no I don’t. I want the Geoff Johns Superman I was so excited to read when it came out in issues….Then it was yanked off from all of us because of that painful storyline that has taken too long to finish. People wouldn’t be complaining about ‘boring’ Superman if Johns was allowed to continue on his run.
This was great! It was like a missing Superman movie from the Christopher Reeve run. What a great tribute to that great line of movies. I didn’t realize how much I missed "that Superman" until I read this. It would have made a good movie too.
