  1. I got the first four issues of this from Harold Sipe at Heroes Con.  (Matt Fraction talked it up; he gives good sales pitch).  It’s been really fun.  I highly recommend it.

  2. I’ve been following this since comicdork37 suggested I pick it up after buying Everybody’s Dead, and it’s been a great ride. Every issue gives me a new favourite character, and I can’t wait to see if this ‘movie’ will ever be shot. Plus the character work and art has been outstanding.

@ohcaroline – kinda jealous you got to meet Sipe 🙂

  3. I just picked up the first four issues yesterday based on the talk about the concept as well as hearing that Sipe was going to write a back-up story for Proof that peaked my interest in his talents.  Sorry that I waited so long, but it is fun to get to read them all at once.

  4. Glad more people are finding this. Hopefully the trade will be BOW at some point (this book is totally Josh’s thing).

  5. Looking forward to "the movie" actually being in this issue after the set-up in issue 1 and build to this finale in issues 2-4. This has been a great read in issues although I am always disappointed when the trades come out and contain all the extra goodies. I think people should be rewarded for buying issues not the trades.

  6. @Eyun  — He was very nice, as was everybody at Heroes Con.  Great event!

  7. @comicdork37 – I couldn’t agree more, especially as we’re paying way more to collect the same story but in monthly format. ‘Fell’ and ‘Kick-Ass’ always seem to go that little extra and give you something cool in the back pages, as did ‘Echo’ this month. I’m sure all that stuff will be in the trade, but it’s a nice gesture to include it as early as the issue as appreciation for the folks supporting it.

@ohcaroline – One day, I tell thee, one day, I WILL make it to a Con! Little expensive travelling from the UK though, much to my chagrin. Pia Guerra was at the Birmingham Con last year but I couldn’t make it. I’d like to start with a smaller US con I think… San Diego would scare the bajesus out of me! 🙂

  8. @Eyun  Heroes is great.  Though Charlotte itself is — not exciting; Seattle or San Francisco (Emerald City/Wonder Con) are better bets as tourist destinations, if you wanted to justify the trip as a vacation.
