Read the first series recently, very much looking forward to this now. The art alone will be worth it.
Just re-read the first trade, and I’m stupidly excited for this beyond words! Man, with the event books recently, a damn good, solid indie book will be a breath of fresh air!

@deadspace: Don’t! there are short stories or "B-sides" in each issue that won’t be collected in the Singles Club trade. but rather years down the line in like a B-side/Rarities compilation
Fantastic stuff! I especially enjoyed the Long Blondes references, who I had actually been listening to before reading this. Very fun.
I’m blown away by how high the pick of the week number is for this book I know almost nothing about…I promise to check this out, or get the earlier trade. Thanks for the tip y’all.

I love the fact that this is the second place pick of the week with less than a quarter of the pulls of the top pick. Lot of passion behind this book.
Picked this up late as it hold sold out in my usual comic book stores. Easy to see why. This is great! I missed volume 1 of this – will definitely go back and pick up the trade. I thought about waiting for the trade on volume 2 now, but you get so much more for your bucks in issue – main story, 2 back up stories that won’t appear in trade, an article by the author, background about all the music references, plus a letters page. Sweet!
