NIGHTMASTER MONSTERS OF ROCK #1

The Shadowpact has been kidnapped by an evil wizard, and it’s up to former rock-god Jim Rook, the Nightmaster, to save them. No big deal, really, but a far more horrifying threat looms: the world’s biggest Jim Rook fan is following him around, and this dirty old hippie just…won’t…shut…UP!

Writer Adam Beechen (ROBIN, BATMAN BEYOND) and artist Kieron Dwyer (SUPERMAN: THE DARK SIDE) deliver a one-shot of supersonic proportions!

  1. I really miss Shadowpact.  It was the first series that really drew me back into comics and DC.  I really hated it when he left the group in the series, so I’m looking forward to seeing Nightmaster again.

  2. Pretty silly stuff… not sure this book will do any favors to getting new readers interested in any of this stuff.

  3. Yes, it’s silly, and there’s a place for that kind of stuff in the DCU, but after the absence of their (much loved) series, it’s debatable if this is the place.

One thing is for certain though; the more Shadowpact the better. Deadly serious or pie-in-the-face funny I don’t care. Just keep them on the ‘playing field.’

    Please.
