  1. Pass.

  2. Pass.

  3. I wouldn’t right this off so quickly. Fred Van Lente has been writing good comics and Marvel Zombies 3 was a better book than Kirkman’s two volumes. Yeah, I "said" it. I know it is blasphemy.

    Son of Satan.

  4. @Scorpion: I agree with you on all fronts

MZ3 might’ve been unnessicary but damnit Van Lente did a great job with the story. I had more fun with the 3rd series then I did when Kirkman did the first two.

Even with agreeing with you though, I am trade waiting on this. But the Midnight Son’s reuinion is making me double think that.

  5. I like the premise behind this instalment, and I like fred van lente. I’m on board!

  6. Wasn’t this book’s thing the zombified homage covers? You’d think that’d be right up Greg Land’s alley, seeing how most of his art these days are homages. Homages to other artists, to his own past "drawings", to Google Image Search, to celebrities, to porn stars, etc, etc.

  7. I wanna read it, I just don’t wanna pay $3.99 for it. MZ3 was really good, actually.

  8. Damn, $3.99? I was thinking about buying this until I saw that. I think that definitely sways me to passing on it.

  9. @cap– Land gets a bad rap. Many artists, including Alex Ross, use live models or photos for reference, Land pauses a DVD. Not that big a deal really. It’s not like the guy tapes tracing paper to his TV screen.

  10. Van Lente (AND MAN-THING!!!), Yes.  $3.99, No.

Sorry to sound like a broken record–I really do love Marvel books, I swear–but not for $3.99.  It just makes more sense to wait for the trade, especially with the great discounts that are available from places like Amazon and InstockTrades.

Dammit… it’s Man-Thing, man… damn you $3.99 for making me trade-wait this one.  Damn you.

  11. So The Midnight Sons are back this time with new members a Vampire, a Witch, a freakin Werewolf, a Muck-Monster, and  The Devil himself so what happens to Doctor Strange and Frank Drake’s version of the Midnight Sons. I think I’ll passed this comic book really I won’t consider myself to buy this stuff ever.

  12. Huge PASS!!!!……..Question, since when did Jeff Hardy(WWE wrestler) become a Marvel character. Is that or is that not him on the cover?!?!?!?!?!?

  13. I’ll flip threw it at the store.. I’m curious about the Merc with only a mouth.  but 3.99 ouch

  14. "Huge PASS!!!!……..Question, since when did Jeff Hardy(WWE wrestler) become a Marvel character. Is that or is that not him on the cover?!?!?!?!?!?" -Osyris

LOL–holy crap… I just laughted inappropriately loud while at work… no, yeah, this?  Totally work related.  (That so IS Jeff Hardy).  Thanks for the laugh man.

  15. If you have to describe a wrestler as somebody from the wwE, I’m lost. Wrestling for me ended circa 1989.

The last Marvel Zombies series was amazing fun.  Comics lack ‘fun’ these days, so I’m hoping this one carries on the same path.  Looking forward to this.

  16. Anyone else getting really tired of Zombies???

  17. This is tied into Dark Reign!?

    *breathes in and screams*

    DAMMMMMMNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. Loved it. Glad I took the gamble.

  19. SPOLIER-ISH OBSERVATION:

a lot of comics I’ve read recently have ended an issue with the antagonist bringing in some extra help, who, on the next page, turns out to be The Hood.

  20. it was everything i wanted in this book.  over the top gore and blood, and light humer.  great.

  21. I resisted Marvel Zombies 3. Then I gave in. Then I was pissed that I resisted. I’m all about wherever Van Lente takes this story. He turned in a good one. Extremely fun. Deadpool and Simon Garth are a great team.
