GARTH ENNIS’ JENNIFER BLOOD #7

Jen’s bloody war against the Blutes is over and it’s time for the cleanup phase of the operation. All’s well that ends well? In a word… no.

This issue: what a woman who kills six men during the week does on a Sunday, what you think about when the only witness to your mass murder vanishes and you didn’t do it, and what happens when you short-change a powerful man with a rotten temper.

And waffles. Delicious waffles.

  1. Think this is Al’s first US comic? Been one of the top writers at 2000AD for a while now, interested to see how he gets on here.

  2. I will be jumping on this for the first time. Mainly because of my interest in the Ninjettes series coming out next year. I bought JB issues 1 and 2 recently and loved them. I’ve never heard of Al Ewing, but it seems all my favorite writers are British these days. Looks like a good jumping on point.

  3. I still don’t know why Dynamite focuses so much on having great cover art but mediocre interiors. You really can’t judge a book by the cover in their case.

  4. I was going to drop this but thought I should give the new writer a shot first and see where he is going to take it.
