DEADPOOL #40

“Institutionalized” Part One

After the fallout (nuclear and otherwise) of Deadpool’s antics out in Arizona, the federal government is faced with an impossible question: What to do with Deadpool? Luckily, Deadpool’s gamma-powered legal defense team provides an answer: Stick him in an institution! When you think about it, it might be the only solution – after all he really does need some professional help as well as protection from the enemy; himself.

  1. Great cover by Johnson.

  2. Thought I was the last person on Ifanboy that was still reading Deadpool. lol

  3. @spaceghost15 I’m like the last original guy on this site to read this book now. lol

Also, I just noticed the Captain America underpants he’s wearing. Nice tie-in to the film there.

  4. One of the books I look forward to month after month.  I’m hoping Way keeps the adrenaline going.

  5. For some reason I really enjoyed the last arc. To me it put some more juice in this book. The series has never been bad, but ever since around Heroic Age something has seemed to be missing for me. But now I’m really looking forward to this arc

  6. This should be fun.

  7. All over the map with this. I wanted more of She-Hulk trying to convince the judge instead of going in three different storylines so quickly. Plus none of the jokes worked for me.

    2/5

  8. my lcs did not get it in also black panther

  9. After my 40th issue I had a major revelation. This book this book is a joke and it’s not funny anymore. DP in Uncanny X-Force is Way better.

  10. If this is heading for a Foolkiller Vs Deadpool showdown, then I like where this issue is going.

  11. I’m glad to see that they are finally going somewhere with this character. I wish they would have left out all of that space travel stuff and went straight to this. Way more interesting.
