If this were the cowboy Vigilante, then I’d so be all over this, but from reading that description, I guess it’s not him. Shame, as I’d love to see him in a comic book.
Maybe one of you folks can write a review of this. I’m curious.
Well I’m gonna give this a try, thankfully it’s a slow week so I can afford it.
I remember reading Alan Moore’s story for Vigilante in his ‘Best of DC’ trade. The character was intriging but I never went in to find other issues for Vigiliante. This could be yet another sleeper hit for DC if they have the right creative team on it. So you can expect a review from me.
I’m loving that Walt Simonson cover! Add in Rick Leonardi on art and I’m willing to give this one a shot.

when they introduced this new vigilante i assumed it would be jean-paul valley, but then i saw the solicit for azrael. so who knows?
is this the same guy from the bruce jones mini?
@ cyberauron- from what i have heard in the interviews and what i read in the nighwing arc last year, this is a new vigilante.

@cyberauron- i saw it on newsarama solicited for march. also azrael was in batman and the outsiders last week.
i might just stick with this book until the #3 issue comes out just because nightwing is in it.
i enjoyed this. i will be buying the next issue.
I picked up most of the entire run of the old Vigilante series from the 80s when I was working at a comic shop in high school and loved it. I’m excited that Wolfman is back writing this. I really dug the Bruce Jones mini but was never sure if that was in continuity or not.

I used to love this character from the Perez/Wolfman run in New Teen Titans back in the 80’s. Even though this cannot be the same guy, I am hoping this has some connection to the Adrian Chase character.
